I would avoid this gym 100% I would never rejoin. ![]() I think the staff are very very unhelpful and disrespectful. I asked for a complaints line and was told to "Google it and we do not hold this information". I have now just been charged another £39, and been told the team did not receive my cancellation request in Jan *again*, and that they are unable to refund the £39. Called the gym several times - no answer. On the 7th Jan 2020, I emailed the team again saying "Please can you ensure my membership has now been cancelled?" No response. I questioned three times, why these were different. I then resent the email I sent in July (asking to freeze), which the team responded "OK we missed your email, we will write off the debt and freeze for another 3 months" At this point they asked me to sign a reinstatement form, however the details on the form and the details in the email were different. ![]() There was nothing they could do to support me. In November I was told I need to pay £65.00 as a late payment fee, I called the team and questioned this, they said I should have contact them to inform them I was sick and that I still needed to pay. Therefore I was still paying for the membership, which one month wasn't able to be taken because I did not have enough money in the bank - due to being on sick leave. In July, I emailed the team to ask if I could cancel or freeze my membership.They told me I could only cancel if I had a doctors note (fair enough) so I said please freeze it until the doctors note was issued (this was ignored), having been in and out of hospital I forgot to request a note. I joined Anytime fitness in Jan 2019, at this point I told the team I had a brain condition and may need to freeze my contact, if I were to get ill. ![]()
